A lifelong proponent of mysticism and Platonic philosophy, Christopher Murphy is an enthusiastic, dedicated teacher blessed with two decades of training under the guidance of Yogic, Taoist, Sufi, and Buddhist spiritual masters. After years of witnessing thousands of people practicing hundreds of methods, with very few achieving any real success, he realized that many seekers were so fixated on merely accumulating practices that the way of life necessary for true realization was falling by the wayside.

Christopher's mission is to rouse the modern practitioner from this “commodity spirituality,” and in its place establish the essential foundations of a trained mind and virtuous character. In doing so he has no wish to become anyone’s "guru" or spiritual leader, but simply aims to empower each individual with the ability to think and determine for themself the merits of any path or practice they may encounter. Based in Asheville, North Carolina, Christopher has conducted workshops in the USA, Canada, UK, and Dominican Republic.
